Driving Probation at Pulaski County District Court

Pulaski County District Court offers a driving probation program for some first-time moving violations. If you qualify, you won't pay a fine right away. Instead, you'll need to attend an approved Defensive Driving School, pay a $100 monitoring fee, pay a $35 driving school attendance fee, and stay free from any moving violations for 6 months. If you meet all the conditions, the charge gets dismissed and won't appear on your driving record.

The probation period is 6 months. If you complete all the requirements, you don't need to appear at the review hearing. But if you fail to comply with any condition, you'll be required to show up in court at the review hearing. At that point, the court may fine you on your original offense. This program is only available for moving violations, not all traffic charges.
